My name is Richard Fitzpatrick and I have worked in the home mortgage business for over 30 years. During the past 12 years I have specialized in Reverse Mortgages helping those people over the age of 62 with their individual needs when it involves a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM).
Two years ago I decided to set myself apart from other loan officers offering a reverse mortgage and decided to become certified as a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional (CRMP). This ceritification is offered by the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA). As a CRMP I was required to have generated a minimum of 30 reverse loans, passed a test to demonstate my competency, submit to a background check and to abide by the Ethical Standards in the industry. To maintain my ceritification I must continue to take and pass a certain number of classes on a yearly basis.
I have been married for over 40 years, have two sons and one grandson. I have lived in southern California all my life and graduated from San Diego State University. I presently reside in a senior community known as Del Webb located in Palm Desert.
I have found that reverse mortgages are not for everyone but for those who take the time to learn about what a reverse mortgage can offer have a better understanding on how it may benefit them. I recommend learning as much as possible about how a reverse mortgage works to discover if it is right for you. Please listen to my recorded webinar, the link is on my home page. Afterwards please contact me to set up a no obligation meeting to answer all the questions. Sincerely,
Richard Fitzpatrick, CRMP
